Sarah won the Most Outstanding Pupil award in Pei Chun Primary School for being outstanding in both studies and ECA. As a child, she had appeared in several local ‘TV Children’ series and ‘Education Television’ programmes.

She scored 8 distinctions during her 'O'-levels in Raffles Girls Secondary. She had hosted several events as a student in RGS and RJC. In Raffles Junior College, she also represented college in softball and qualified for the prestigious Law School in National University of Singapore with 4 distinctions at ‘A’-levels.

Sarah strongly believes in studying smart and playing hard. After attending Allen's Study Smart course, Sarah was convinced it was the REAL DEAL that students need to know to ace their exams - having been a top student herself.

Sarah has taught ‘O’-level students to empower them with the necessary skills to ace the English language paper. She had also worked with children and the youth. Many of her students remain firm friends with her through the years. She has spoken at seminars with a crowd of a few hundred and even hosted conventions with a few thousand attendees. With a natural gift in public speaking and a heart to teach and passion to impart, she is currently the exclusive trainer with Allen (the creator of the course).

Master Your 'O' Level English with Sarah G.

Very often, students do well in study subjects but struggle with their language papers. Many are denied entry in junior colleges because of lousy grades for their English Language paper.

Sarah G. is a NUS Law school graduate with a Masters degree in Law. Sarah G began with a burden to help neighbourhood students in the English language paper so that they may qualify for Junior Colleges, and has coached students for the 'O'-level English paper since 1998.

She believes in imparting a love for the language, and seeks to remove the fear comes with inadequate usage of the language. Almost all her students made a minimum of two grades improvement in their English paper within just 10-12 lessons. In the 12 lessons, the students will learn to appreciate the beauty of the language, and understand the importance of speaking and writing right. They will develop a confidence in expressing themselves in English.

The following topics are taught so that students may be geared up and be fully prepared for the 'O'-level English paper:

1. Language use for Paper One and Paper Two
2. What examiners are looking for in Paper One
3. How to avoid common mistakes in language paper
4. What to look out for in tackling Paper Two
5. Time Management
6. English Exam techniques (applicable also to other subjects)
7. Mock Exams

Class size is set at a maximum of 8 students, and there will also be one-to-one coaching near 'O'-level examination periods.

Sarah G. has a real passion to teach and impart. She is effective in delivery and working with youth and many of her students remain firm friends with her even until today.

Allen studied in Hwa Chong during his 'O' and 'A' levels. He scored all A1's in his 'O' levels except for his Chinese language. In Hwa Chong, he won the Top Performance Student award in his faculty combination and was 3rd overall in his cohort and was 3rd overall in his cohort. During his 'A' levels, he was among the very top in the Singapore cohort, scoring A's in C. Maths, F. Maths, Economics, Physics and Chinese, and achieving distinctions in the demanding 'Special' papers in Physics and Mathematics. His 7 distinctions at 'A'-levels surpassed the typical 5-6 'A'-level distinctions achieved by President's Scholars during his time. He was also a member of the school soccer and athletics team during his Hwa Chong days, and continued to do so for his army camp during national service.

He was the top qualifying student to Nanyang Technological University where he studied for 2 months before going overseas. During his overseas stint, Allen stunned his deans by completing his 4-year finance degree in an unprecedented 2 years (and finding time to complete 2 minors in economics and Information Technology). As an Evan Pugh scholar, he topped the School of Business and was the top full-time student in university - achieving a total of 42 'A's and one 'A-' for a near-perfect GPA of 3.99 out of 4.00.

Allen was able to achieve his outstanding university results while spending 3 hours daily writing computer software as a hobby. This was possible because he used very effective study techniques to minimise his study time and maximise his exam results. He won the coveted C|Net's Shareware of the Week international software award as a student with his first Windows software project. Allen created this comprehensive course to help other students achieve greater academic success.
